The Dog Park in Wheaton Regional Park, opened in January 2003, features a secure half-acre space enclosed by a six-foot chain-link fence, allowing dogs to run and play off-leash. Located near the Wheaton Sports Pavilion, the park is open from sunrise to sunset. Dog owners are reminded to keep their pets on a leash when entering and exiting the park. There is no fee for entry, and no dog permits are required for use.
