Kahua Veterinary Rehabilitation and Acupuncture (KVRA) is the the only mobile, veterinarian-run, rehabilitation and acupuncture service on Oahu for both small and large animals. KVRA operates out of Ali'i Animal Hospital 1 day a week (Monday) and also performs house-calls throughout Oahu. Veterinary rehabilitation is an increasingly popular segment of veterinary medicine focused on improving quality of life and/or performance for animals suffering from illness or injury. Rehabilitation is especially helpful in reducing pain and improving recovery after surgery. KVRA is owned and operated by veterinarian, Dr. Melissa Shelley.
