About

Cancer Care for Pets is an independent veterinary oncology referral service. We are based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, within Donaldson's Vets' Somerset Road facility. Cancer Care for Pets is owned and operated by Neil Palmer BVSc, MSc(Clin Onc), MRCVS and Kirsty Chippendale Dip AVN RVN. Together we bring more than 45 years in the profession to the new referral service.We have a unique approach, where our team's clinical skills and experience are combined with the knowledge each family has of what is best for their pet. We have focused on patient-centred cancer care for a number of years honouring the bond between patient and owner, to build a team that creates an individual, holistic treatment plan for each patient.
