Livefoods Direct is Britain’s foremost supplier of livefoods and products. Breeding high quality livefoods since 1981. Livefoods Direct specialises in breeding a wide range of invertebrate species including mealworms, locusts and crickets to less familiar kinds such waxworms. Each week throughout the year Livefoods Direct breeds anything from 1.5 to 3.5 tonne (peak season), of mealworms per week making us the largest producer of mealworm in the UK. Alongside this we produce up to 1,000,000 Banded Crickets, 500,000 Silent Crickets, 500,000 Black Crickets and 150,0000 locusts per week.
