Saving and protecting wildlife for future generations: PWHRC is a British wildlife hospital and rehabilitation charity based in leafy Hertfordshire. Founded by a visionary veterinary surgeon, our centre in Rickmansworth near Watford is dedicated to addressing the pressing needs of wildlife in our Metropolitan greenbelt and surrounding areas that have been affected by rampant urbanisation and new infrastructure developments. We are run by a passionate team of volunteers including veterinarians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists. Our mission is clear: to save and protect wildlife. With support from donors and the public, we are expanding our reach through advocacy in speaking up for wildlife.
