Heather Park Off-leash Dog Area is a newly completed fenced space designed for dogs to play freely. It is part of the People, Parks and Dogs Strategy, which emphasizes the importance of off-leash areas within a 15-minute walk for residents. This area enhances access for off-leash activities, particularly in underserved neighborhoods, promoting a community-friendly environment for both dogs and their owners. The park acknowledges its location on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
